More fur...
I'm getting feedback that the matted fur is gross. haaa well who cares. It's what you have deal with when you have a pet. Here's another pic with more fur being removed.

Heez.... great you managed to get more matted fur off her. When I see her bottoms with lots of matted fur, I couldn't wait to get it off her. She looks too sweet to have her bums so messed up.

Just some tips. Misty's case is quite special. She's been traumatized for months before. And as you know, she doesnt like to be carried.
One thing you can do to build trust and rapport with her is to lay her on the floor and stroke her head instead of carrying and stroking her head at the same time most of the time. In those moments, instill to her good experiences by givng her treats at those moments.
Save the treats for yourself to build a relationship with her. Try to let her eat it off your hands instead of just placing it in the bowl.
I think she is definitely is terrific hands, she just needs a few months for her to gain back her true character. Until then, keep these tips in mind for use as they will come in handy.
