Easter Bunny

Ok so it's easter and there's something called the Easter Bunny. I wonder how it's related and how it started. Maybe if you know, drop me a message.

Anyway, some parents take this excuse to get their kids a pet bunny. How "logical" eh? Who's gonna take care of it after Easter then? Who's gonna clean up the poo and pee if the bunny refuses to be litter trained? Who's gonna bring the bunny to a savvy vet when it falls sick? I wonder if these questions are even on their minds. To them, it's just another "toy" for their child.

To all bunnies out there, hope you'll have a loving and caring owner.

I promised to show what other items I bought for her so here they are:

- a new pillow for her to lie on
- a floor mat for her to prevent her from going to the carpet

Unfortunately she doesn't really like any of these. She kept hopping over the pillow, as well as scratched on it a few times. The mat, she just hops on it, sniff a little and hop elsewhere. Haa...

Home Improvements

Eversince she started staying in a playpen, there are a couple of favourite spots that she likes to sleep at. The left corner, the sides and even in her litterpan itself. Lazy girl. =\ So I had no choice but to improvise on her litterpan setup, had to place the mat then pour the bedding over the mat so that whenever she pees, it will absorb immediately and prevent her from staining herself when she lies on it.

I bought her a couple of items yesterday. 1st is the seagrass mat. It's made of untreated seagrass and safe for biting (even swallowing). She was kepo from the start and started sniffing it and stepped on it for awhile. A few hours later, i saw some pee on it. Grr.. ok maybe it's her way of saying it's hers. =S

I'll reveal what are the other 2 items I bought for her in later posts...
She loves to beg for food, especially for pellets and treats. The mornings and evenings are her feeding times for pellets and she will always hop around frantically if she sees me walking towards the storeroom. She will then quickly hop onto her litterpan as she knows that's where I normally feed her.
