Rabbit's Nose

It's been quite some time since I last posted an entry. Comp was down for awhile. Anyways, Misty was in one of her pee-anywhere moods about a week ago. I had to look for help on how to solve it. Was told to clean up any traces of pee and possible scent from places which I wanted her to stay away from. Her toilet should be the only place where pee can be found. She will then associate smell = toilet.

So I took out her old cage base and placed her toilet in it. Perhaps she needed some place to hide/sleep in instead of her previous playpen area which had too much of open space. She's somehow timid and insecure at times.

Here's how it looks like now:

She consistently pee-ed at where the triangle litterpan was. So I had to put the litterpan there to prevent her from doing it. After doing that, she managed to pee in the toilet and not anywhere else for 24 hours. But when I'm at home during the day today, she started again. Sigh. Will continue to clean up and keep at it. Hope for the best!

She loves to lie between the pillow and the side of the cage base. She's a leaner - loves to lean. Haa.
