Contentment

I've heard from people telling me that pets are being sold in the Bangkok weekend market. However, I've been there a few times but didn't have the time to go take a look. This time, we were there earlier and I went to look for the pet stalls.

I saw many dogs, puppies to be exact being sold. I saw a very rare "pet" which was a hedgehog! Very cute little spikey pet. Hee... There were also hamsters, guinea pigs and of course bunnies. Very young bunnies. Many of them had their eyes barely open. They looked like there were at most a month old.

And they were already being fed vegetables as their staple. I'm sure I didn't see any hay or mama bun being around to feed them their milk. Well, this is a business to them and the cute factor is the most important selling point. Baby bunnies who are being fed vegetables might cause them to get runny stools and possibly lead to death. I don't even know what vegetables are those. They resembled pandan leaves but wasn't as they didn't smell like so.

They were all for sale at only 100 Baht! Sigh. I guess their lives are viewed as worthless. They are just like any other toy...

The Escape

I came home on the 29th July and was walking into the house, the usual thing I would do is to take a look at her and call her: Misty.. Then I saw that she was not in her playpen! I saw that her playpen had a gap which was around 5cm which she had pushed to escape.

So I looked around the hall and called Misty as I was looking. Then she jumped out and was staring at me from across the hall, near the carpet =\ What a naughty bunny. My 1st reaction after that was to look for possible pee spots that she might have made but there were none. My guess was that she wasn't out for very long.

Since that day, she would try to rattle and bite on the playpen, thinking that she can do that again. But nope, I've hooked the playpens and she can no longer escape anymore. Wahahaaaa~~ *evil laughter*
